We stopped putting up Christmas decorations, shopping and all the trappings of Christmas due to the fact it made it very difficult to focus on Jesus. The focus became about all these other things and it made me very sad and I would cry because it was very difficult for me to see Jesus in it all. I love what you said about our conscience being seared that's exactly why I stopped. I do not judge others his conscience are not seared about it. In fact I look at them as actually being stronger and faith because they do not lose focus in the midst of all the worldly things. We all just need to be careful that we do not judge each other on these things that do not condemn us.

Hi.. I thank you for further clarity on scripture, however I think many believers need to evaluate how much effort, time, and adoration to putting up, decorating, and admiring their tree or any other tree. Many people feel like if they don't have a tree, then Christmas has been diminished. If we believe in celebrating it for our Savior's birth, then just like dealing with Santa, you won't care if you have a tree, decorations, etc.. I just say how important is it to you verses spending time with God?
