On today's show we discuss some of the messianic prophecies that appear in the old testament. Is Isaiah 53 really just a prophecy about Israel, as some argue? We'll start at Isaiah 52:13 to answer this argument.

These prophecies and covenants are for the House of Israel. Jesus said he's only come for the Lost Sheep of Israel (Matt 15:24). It's no way the Jews in current day Israel are the same ppl. If that was the land then the rest of prophecies would have to be fulfilled as well. Also, and let's be honest here the Hebrews of the Bible were dark skinned ppl (SongSolomon 1:5, Lamentations 4:8, Exodus 4:6-7, Acts 13:1, ). That's one of the reasons in Isaiah 52:13-15 that ppl will be astonished. They will see what they have not been told.
