Or could it be the verse that the world seems to know better than any other, even if they've never opened a Bible? "Judge not, lest ye be judged." It's quoted by celebrities, politicians, atheists, and even professing Christians whenever someone's behavior is challenged. In today's culture, it has become the ultimate conversation stopper, as though the greatest sin isn't hypocrisy, immorality, unbelief, or anything else, but simply telling someone that they happen to be wrong. But is this really what Jesus meant? Was Christ forbidding all judgment? Or has one of His most famous statements been ripped from its context and turned into the exact opposite of what He really intended?
